Terms & Conditions
Last Updated: 8 May 2025
Effective Date: 8 May 2025
1. Definitions
In these Terms and Conditions:
- "Atelier" / "we" / "us" means Pranee Atelier, based at 90 Thanon Ratsadanusorn, Talat Yai, Phuket 83000, Thailand.
- "Client" / "you" means any person who submits an enquiry, deposits a watch for service, or engages our services.
- "Service" means any watch repair, maintenance, seal service, or restoration work performed by the Atelier.
- "Item" means any timepiece or watch component left in our care.
- "Agreement" means the written or verbal agreement formed when a Client approves a service quotation.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By submitting an enquiry form on our website, depositing an Item for service, or approving a quotation, you confirm that:
- You are at least 18 years of age or have the consent of a legal guardian
- You have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions
- You are the legal owner of the Item or have the owner's authority to commission service
3. Service Description
Pranee Atelier provides three service types for mechanical and automatic watches:
- Service and Maintenance — cleaning, lubrication, and regulation
- Water Resistance and Seal Service — gasket replacement and resistance testing
- Complete Vintage Restoration — movement rebuild and component conservation
Services are available in person at our Phuket workshop. We do not currently offer postal service. We reserve the right to decline a commission if the Item requires specialist tooling or proprietary components not available to us.
4. Quotations and Pricing
All prices are quoted in Thai Baht (THB). No work is undertaken without the Client's agreement to the quoted price. Where additional work is identified during service, we will contact the Client before proceeding. Additional component costs, if any, are confirmed separately before purchase.
If the Client declines to proceed after an assessment, no charge is made for the initial assessment. If the Client declines after work has commenced under an agreed quotation, reasonable costs for work performed to that point may apply.
5. Item Deposit and Collection
- All Items are individually documented at the time of deposit
- Clients receive a receipt describing the Item and agreed service scope
- Items must be collected within 30 days of completion notification. Items not collected after 90 days may be subject to a storage fee
- Proof of identity or the deposit receipt may be required at collection
6. Turnaround Times
Estimated completion times are provided in good faith but are not contractually binding. Factors including parts availability, movement complexity, and workshop capacity may affect timelines. We will notify Clients of any significant delays.
7. Service Warranty
Service and Maintenance work carries a written warranty covering the regulated operation of the movement under normal wear conditions. The warranty period and specific terms are stated on the service documentation provided at collection. The warranty does not cover damage from impact, exposure to moisture beyond the tested rating, user modification, or wear inconsistent with the stated service.
8. Limitations of Liability
We take reasonable care with every Item in our custody. However, our liability for any loss or damage to an Item is limited to the reasonable repair or replacement cost of that Item, as assessed at the time of loss. We are not liable for pre-existing conditions, concealed damage, or diminution in value of antique or collectible pieces arising from service work expressly agreed with the Client.
We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including sentimental value, arising from service delays or outcomes.
9. Client Responsibilities
- Provide accurate information about the Item's history and prior repairs
- Disclose any known damage, fragility, or unusual features before deposit
- Collect the Item within the agreed or reasonable timeframe
- Provide accurate contact details for service updates and completion notices
10. Intellectual Property

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand. Any disputes arising from these terms or the provision of services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Phuket Province, Thailand.
We encourage Clients to contact us in the first instance to seek an informal resolution before initiating formal proceedings.
